YO! Sushi Brighton
Situated in the heart of Brighton’s iconic Lanes, customers can enjoy an array of over 80 Japanese inspired dishes from YO! Sushi’s world famous conveyor belt, all expertly prepared by sushi ninjas before their very eyes.
Featuring everything from traditional sushi and sashimi to hot classics including chicken katsu curry, salmon teriyaki and yakisoba noodles, customers simply help themselves to any dish that catches their eye from the selection of colour-coded plates ranging from £1.70 to £5.00. A refreshing selection of Japanese beers and sake accompany a carefully selected wine list to complete the partnership.
A Japanese inspired interior offers a cutting edge taste of Tokyo, creating a cool ambience to watch as the iconic YO! Sushi conveyor belt weave its way around guests, showcasing sushi rolling and sashimi slicing in a visual display of technical talent.

The story so far . . . .
YO! Sushi’s first restaurant, Poland Street, opened in 1997, bringing the concept of a Japanese ‘kaiten’ sushi bar that delivered food to customers via a conveyor belt travelling 8cm per second to the masses. YO! Sushi was a brand new concept in dining and catapulted Londoners into the 21st century, making it the most talked about dining experience in the capital.
By 2001, YO! Sushi was the market leader in sushi restaurants and (we like to think!) inspired supermarkets to start selling packaged sushi to the Great British Public, allowing people in areas where YO! Sushi restaurants hadn’t arrived yet to take their first steps in discovering how tasty and healthy sushi can be.
To this day, YO! Sushi’s dishes are freshly prepared in our restaurants daily by our nifty kitchen ninjas, whether to dine in, for takeaway or delivery.
For the past 11 years YO! Sushi has been led by our CEO, Robin Rowland and with the help of our leadership team, we’ve grown from a London-only sushi brand to an international iconic success with 64 restaurants worldwide. YO! Sushi is privately owned by Quilvest and the YO! Sushi senior management team in the UK, and we work with the very best franchise partners to bring YO! Sushi to locations internationally.
